ḰENES (Humpback) at ȽO,LEĆEN (Moresby Isl.)

On November 14th our team went out to monitor our zone 2 area, South of Turn Point. After observing different clusters of birds gathering around the bait balls, we received reports of potential Humpbacks in the area so we got the camera gear ready and kept our eyes open. After a few minutes in Haro Strait we noticed some splashing a few kms away off of ȽO,LEĆEN (Moresby Isl.), the humpbacks were travelling at a faster pace so we shut the engines down to let them pass, once they passed we attempted to capture the fluke ID from behind but no luck as the whales continued on their journey. After 20 minutes of watching the humpbacks slowly disappear in the distance our team packed up for the day.
