Two Spot

Fluke Aerie

Fallen Knight

On September 22 we departed the marina with news of a group of humpbacks in the strait of Georgia. We departed north through Swanson Channel and encountered a pair of male Killer whales near S,ḴŦAḴ (Active Pass). The whales continued north into active pass. These two killer whales were identified as T060D and T060E. We flew our whale flag and alerted ferries transiting through active pass and other vessels of the whales’ presence. As we continued north through active pass, leaving the whales to be. We then met up with the original reported humpbacks in the Strait of Georgia who we have identified as two spot, fallen knight, aerie, and one unknown whale possibly Mensa (BCX1565).

All photos are taken with a 200-600 zoom lens.
